MENCHINE, J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

James Matthew Long was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Calvert County on a charge of grand larceny. He was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of eight years.

On appeal, appellant contends, inter alia, that:
