The Ministers Life and Casualty Union and Preferred Risk Life Insurance Company (Ministers) appeal from the judgment of not guilty in an unlawful detainer proceeding against Franklin Park Towers Corporation (Franklin). Ministers' claim is based on its interest in land established pursuant to documents apparently creating a sale and leaseback arrangement, but which the lower court construed to give rise to an equitable mortgage.
