OPINION BY PRICE, J., March 29, 1976:

This is an appeal1 from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County denying the appellant's petition to dismiss the charges against him for violation of his right to a speedy trial under Rule 1100(a)(1) of the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure.2 For the reasons stated herein, we reverse the order below and discharge the appellant.
