Pursuant to § 17-82e of the General Statutes, the welfare commissioner found that the plaintiff was liable for the support of her mother, who was a recipient of public assistance, and determined that she should contribute $78 a month toward such support. At the plaintiff's request, a fair hearing was held in accordance with the provisions of § 17-2a of the General Statutes, and the amount of her monthly contribution was confirmed. Thereafter,...
