We dismiss this appeal on contradictory motion of defendant-appellee, The Prudential Insurance Company of America, for lack of jurisdiction, since the devolutive appeal was not timely perfected.

The judgment in the instant case was rendered on May 29, 1975, and signed by the trial court on June 3, 1975, dismissing plaintiff's claim for damages arising out of a credit life insurance policy. There was no application for a new trial. On August...
