In February of 1973, Angel Pantoja was indicted for armed robbery. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 18-2.) He was convicted at a bench trial and sentenced to imprisonment for not less than 20 years and not more than 60 years. Defendant raises three issues on appeal: (1) the State failed in its duty to provide a fair trial by not extending an offer of immunity to a defense...
