After a jury trial in the circuit court of Champaign County, the defendant, Thomas Hunt, was found guilty of the offenses of rape, deviate sexual assault and aggravated battery. Following a sentencing hearing, the defendant was sentenced to concurrent terms of imprisonment of 8 to 24 years for the rape charge...
