After a bench trial, defendant was convicted of both the unlawful use of weapons (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, § 24-1), and of failure to have in his possession a Firearm Owner's Identification Card (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, §§ 83-2, 83-14).
