OPINION BY CERCONE, J., March 29, 1976:

The instant appeal arises from appellant's conviction, after a jury trial, of one count of extortion1 and one count of "macing."2 Appellant also was charged with bribery3 and tampering with witnesses,4 but on those charges the jury found him not guilty.
