Before the present action was commenced, plaintiffs had sought to have their property in West Bloomfield Township rezoned from R-15, residential, to O-1, office buildings. This change in zoning was desired because plaintiff Harris W. Mainster, a doctor, had offered to purchase the property, subject to rezoning, for use as an office or clinic.
