Plaintiff Manson State Bank commenced this law action to recover on an $8000 renewal note dated January 16, 1971. The makers, defendants Dr. Richard C. Tripp and his wife Bonnie Tripp, defended (and counterclaimed for $2375 principal and interest paid on the initial December 31, 1969 note for $10,000) alleging a bank employee committed fraud in the inducement of the instrument.
