Defendants, Bobby Rollins and Robert Smith, were charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. After a trial without a jury in the circuit court of Cook County, they each were found guilty of both charges. The trial court sentenced each defendant on the burglary count to six years eight months to 20 years. Both defendants contend on appeal that they did not understandingly...
