The sole issue for consideration is whether the trial court erred in instructing the jury on the "sudden emergency" doctrine in this case arising out of an automobile accident in Muskegon County. The accident occurred on Apple Avenue, a five-lane highway consisting of two lanes in each direction and a center turn lane.
