Defendants William and Rosalie Hultenschmidt were convicted of grand larceny. The convictions were affirmed by the Court of Appeals, Division Two. This court granted review of the unpublished decision of the Court of Appeals to consider the issue of whether admission in evidence of defendants' prior convictions was proper.
