Defendant appeals as of right from his July 23, 1975, jury conviction of the following crimes: (1) escape with violence, MCLA 750.193; MSA 28.390, (2) assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, MCLA 750.84; MSA 28.279, and (3) unauthorized driving away of a motor vehicle, MCLA 750.413; MSA 28.645. On August 11, 1975, defendant was sentenced to a term of from 32 months to 4 years on...
