Defendant, Robert Warmack, was charged with attempt murder, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated battery of a nine-year-old girl. After a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County, he was found guilty of attempt murder and aggravated kidnapping. Defendant was found not guilty of aggravated battery. The court sentenced him to 10 to 20 years on each of the two charges, the sentences...
