McCOWN, Justice.

The defendant, Joseph McDonald, was charged with killing Lyle Duane Ford in the perpetration of a robbery. That offense is first degree murder under section 28-401, R.S.Supp., 1974. He was found guilty by a jury and sentenced to life imprisonment.
