Defendant pled guilty on April 1, 1974, to a charge of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl and was sentenced on April 29, 1974, to a maximum indeterminate term of 20 years' imprisonment. On direct appeal from the judgment of conviction, defendant contends that the trial court erred in accepting his plea.
