This case arose from an automobile collision which occurred at an intersection in Norwich. Two of the plaintiffs, DeAnn and Mark Galligan, were passengers in a vehicle being driven north on West Thames Street by their mother, the plaintiff Bernadette Galligan, when it collided with a vehicle being operated in a westerly direction on Shipping Street by the defendant, Robert E.
