Arthur Ray Hendrix, age seventeen, was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was riding struck a cable-gate stretched across the private road of Gifford-Hill & Company, Inc. Subsequently, an action was commenced by Faye Hendrix Vickers, individually and as administratrix of the decedent's estate, pursuant to the Arkansas Wrongful Death Statute.
