Appellant, Sammy Van Woundenberg, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged, tried and convicted in the District Court, Tulsa County, Case No. CRF-73-701, for the offense of Murder, in violation of 21 O.S. 1971, § 701, ¶ 3. His punishment was fixed at Life imprisonment in the State penitentiary, and from said judgment and sentence he has perfected a timely appeal to this...
