On two occasions within a three-day period, Wesley Lancaster forcibly raped a young girl. He pleaded nolo condendere1 to two counts of rape, and was sentenced to imprisonment for seven years on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently. The sentencing judge suspended five years of each of the seven-year sentences, leaving Lancaster a total of two years imprisonment to serve. In addition...
