On January 16, 1973, the defendant-appellant, hereinafter referred to as the appellant, was indicted for armed robbery in violation of R. C. 2901.13 and for intentional shooting in violation of R. C. 2901.23. The appellant plead not guilty to these charges and a trial was held before a jury commencing on September 10, 1973.
