The board of trustees of the school district versus Sydney Spiegel, the teacher, is a contest about liberty. There is involved in this appeal the question of

Liberty, as conceived by the freespeech provisions of the First Amendment to the Federal Constitution, and Liberty, as it is contemplated by the fair-hearing provisions of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Federal Constitution.
