Appellee-plaintiff is the father of appellant-defendant. The plaintiff was the record owner of a tract of land known as the River Place, upon which he lived and farmed. The defendant was raised there and for a time after his marriage, he and his wife lived on the homestead with the plaintiff and his wife before defendant's mother died.
