The above entitled cases were consolidated for trial. The plaintiffs (hereinafter "the Gridleys", John, Jr., and John, III) are father and son. In April of 1972, the Gridley's purchased securities from the defendant Sayre & Fisher Company (hereinafter Sayre & Fisher).
