Appellant was charged with second degree murder and convicted of manslaughter. On appeal he contends the trial court erred by: (1) denying his motion for acquittal since the evidence demonstrated that appellant had shot the victim in self defense; (2) refusing to instruct the jury on certain attempts, excusable homicide, and several lesser included offenses; and (3) admitting into evidence a photograph of the victim that was so inflammatory it unduly...
