These cases arise out of an accident involving three automobiles which occurred at the intersection of Florida Boulevard and North 19th Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 23, 1974. Carolyn Kirby, driver, and Jean Salemi, passenger, were proceeding west on Florida in the inside traffic lane. Cecil Button was following the Kirby vehicle in a station wagon.
