Defendant, Mark Tellifero, was arraigned on February 15, 1974 for possession of marijuana, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966(C). He entered a "limited" plea under the provisions of La. R.S. 40:983 which allows a conditional discharge for a first offense of unlawful possession, and was placed on supervised probation for a period of two years.
