These are separate appeals arising from convictions of two brothers, Eugenio (Joe) Good Shield and Cordell (Paul) Good Shield, for assault with a dangerous weapon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1153, and S.D.C.L. § 22-18-11, and for endeavoring to influence, obstruct and impede justice, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1503.1 We consolidated the appeals for purposes of argument and opinion.
