This is an appeal from a summary judgment granted defendant, The City of Argyle, Texas, in a suit brought by B. L. Nelson & Associates, Inc., plaintiff, on an express contract for engineering services rendered.

The grounds for the granting of the summary judgment is the cause of action is barred by the statute of limitations and the contract made the basis of this suit is void for the reason the City had no power to make the contract...
