This is an action for workmen's compensation death benefits filed by the surviving widow, Martha Maxine Lay, of a deceased employee, William E. Lay, against his employer, Allied Chemical Corporation, and its insurer, The Travelers Insurance Company, alleging that her husband, while performing his work as a senior operating engineer in the employer's chemical plant, suffered a fatal heart attack after having worked for about four hours.
