McGuire, filed suit against defendant, Central Louisiana Electric Company, Inc., hereinafter Cleco, for damages sustained through Cleco's alleged wrongful cutting and trimming of trees on his property. Cleco held a conventional servitude on plaintiff's lot extending five feet within the property and paralleling plaintiff's southern property line.
