Defendant appeals from his conviction and sentence of five years imprisonment upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of manslaughter.
Defendant's major contention is that the court erred in failing to direct a verdict of acquittal because the evidence was not sufficient to establish defendant's guilt. We therefore must review the evidence in the light most favorable to the verdict. As stated in State v. Thomas,
