Plaintiff, Churchill Farms, Inc. (Churchill), after paying under protest $34,036.93 ad valorem tax for 1969 on immovable property it owns in Jefferson Parish, filed this suit for a refund of that proportion of the levy based on an increase in its assessment from $8,800 to $263.388.
