Harvey Park was tried on consolidated indictments, one charging manufacture of phencyclidine (PCP), a Schedule III controlled substance, 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), and the other charging receipt by a convicted felon of a rifle and a shotgun, 18 U.S.C. App. § 1202(a)(1). Park unsuccessfully objected to the consolidation. The jury found him guilty of the drug charge and acquitted him of the gun charge. He was sentenced to five years imprisonment...
