Delmer Woodburn brought an action against LTV Aerospace Corporation (LTV), his former employer, charging that the defendant violated and was continuing to violate the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-34. The trial court dismissed the action for Woodburn's failure to comply with 29 U.S.C. § 626(d). That section provides that "[n]o civil action may be commenced...
