This is a workmen's compensation suit instituted by William M. Crooks against Tioga Timber Company, Inc., and its insurer, Southern Casualty Insurance Company. Judgment was rendered by the trial court in favor of plaintiff, awarding him compensation benefits based on a finding of total and permanent disability, plus penalties and attorney's fees, subject to a credit for the amounts previously paid.
