Several parties, alleging that they were the heirs of May Belle Wood, Deceased, instituted suit under the provisions of Tex. Prob.Code Ann. § 48 (Supp.1976-1977) to declare heirship of the deceased. Appellant, alleging that she was the adopted daughter of the deceased under the doctrine of equitable adoption, appeared and pleaded that she was entitled to be declared the heir of the deceased to the exclusion of the other parties.
