This is one of four lawsuits involving damages occurring during a wind and rain storm in Alexandria, Louisiana, on or about December 2, 1973. All were consolidated for a lengthy jury trial and this appeal. A metal cowl or vent cover on the roof of the Piccadilly Cafeteria was blown loose and rolled over the roof of the Alexandria Mall, puncturing the roof in at least two places.
