SANFORD v. SANFORD

No. 7285.

328 So.2d 915 (1976)

Linda May SANFORD v. Calvin H. SANFORD, Jr.

Court of Appeal of Louisiana, Fourth Circuit.

Rehearing Denied April 13, 1976.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Reed, Reed & D'Antonio, Floyd J. Reed, Metarie, for plaintiff-appellant.

Karno, Lockhart & Brainis, Leon I. Brainis, Metairie, for defendant-appellee.

Before LEMMON, GULOTTA and STOULIG, JJ.

STOULIG, Judge.

Plaintiff, Mrs. Linda May Sanford, has appealed as inadequate a judgment condemning defendant Calvin H. Sanford, Jr., to pay pendente lite alimony and child support for three children (ages 12, 9 and 2 ½ years) in the sum of $60 per week.

Before we discuss the evidence, we are compelled to make the general observation that plaintiff and her three children cannot subsist on this meager amount without some form of public aid.
