HARRIS, Judge.

Appellant was indicted for murder in the first degree. He was convicted of murder in the second degree and the jury fixed his punishment at fifteen years in the penitentiary. He was represented by retained counsel and at arraignment pleaded not guilty. After sentence was imposed, he gave notice of appeal and requested that the sentence be suspended pending appeal. This request was granted and bond was set at $15,000.00.
