This is an indictment charging the defendant Joseph R. Medeiros with the murder of Jose E. Pinheiro in violation of G. L. 1956 (1969 Reenactment) § 11-23-1. The case was tried to a Superior Court justice sitting with a jury which returned a verdict of guilty of murder in the second degree.
