This is an appeal from a judgment in favor of defendant law enforcement officers in a civil rights action. 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The district court, sitting without a jury, determined that the Sheriff of Decatur County, Jack K. Parrish, and two of his deputies, Jeffery L. Long and Jack French, did not violate plaintiffs'1 civil rights when, after a high-speed automobile chase, one of the deputies shot at plaintiff...
