The appellant, Zachariah B. Rodgers, was charged with possession of a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and assault. The assault charge was apparently nolle prossed. At the conclusion of the trial in the Criminal Court of Baltimore (Karwacki, J., presiding), a jury found the appellant not guilty of possessing a deadly weapon but guilty of resisting arrest.
