The accident giving rise to this action occurred on December 11, 1971, at approximately 2:30 o'clock A. M. on the Old Hammond Highway at its intersection with the Pumpkin Center Road, in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. Plaintiff, Mrs. Lynette Foster O'Neal, had been driving in a southwesterly direction on the Old Hammond Highway when, after giving a signal of her intention to make a left turn onto the Pumpkin Center Road, she was struck from the rear...
