OPINION

This case concerns the effectiveness of express indemnity clauses in construction contracts.

On March 28, 1967, ironworker Steven G. Weber was operating a jack from a small, unrailed scaffold suspended below the Tanana Bridge project about 40 feet above the Tanana River.
