Appellant was convicted after a trial by jury of petit larceny1 and destruction of property,2 for which he received concurrent sentences.3 Moreover, pursuant to the District of Columbia's release offender statute, D.C.Code 1973, § 23-1328, appellant received an additional 90-day sentence to be served consecutively to all other sentences.
