Appellant was convicted on December 1, 1972, of murder in the first degree and carrying a dangerous weapon, D.C.Code 1973, §§ 22-2401 and 22-3204, respectively. The convictions were subsequently affirmed by this court. Hurt v. United States, D.C.App., 337 A.2d 215 (1975).
