This suit was instituted by plaintiff, Lula Mae Allemand Marie, against defendants, J. T. (Jimmy) Doucette and Yvonne Champagne Doucette, to recover the balance on a promissory note secured by a mortgage1 on immovable property sold to the Doucettes by plaintiff Marie.
